Information Design

In addition to data visualization, Threestory Studio designs presentations of information that may not be strictly based on quantitative data. We help illuminate complex systems, processes or concepts through clear, coherent diagrams and illustrations.

Our information design projects often begin with a napkin sketch or whiteboard drawing from our client, or an unsuccessful Power Point slide that needs help. Once we understand the broader context, the audience, and client objectives, we generate conceptual sketches of visual explanations. These visuals are then refined as vector art suitable for presentation in print or online.
